The
Dell is the one of the best company for buying laptops . Mainly the
Dell XPS 15 laptop is a beast of a laptops, that is coming with a
15.6-inch HD+ display with an a amazing 3200 x 1800 pixel resolution.
The Dell Xps 15 also takes advantage of the Haswell architecture and, of
course, it doesn’t sell cheap.
But
accroding to the owners of the XPS 15 , they are complaining of a
high-pitch scratching sound coming from the laptop that is making them
irritate.
User cz111 who started the topic on the Dell community official forum explains.
“Hi all, I just got my new XPS 15, amazing laptop but there’s 1 big problem.”
“A
high-pitched scratching noise is produced from the power button area
ONLY when the power is plugged in and the battery is fully charged.”
Similar reports also coming from peoples all over the world.
“Yes
I’m experiencing the same issues as the other users but my XPS 15 also
does this while just on battery(not being charged). I do have really
sensitive hearing, especially to high pitch noises.”
“I
should note that the XPS 15 can be completely quiet while not being
charged and that I only sometimes get the high pitch noise while not
charging the XPS 15. If you get in contact with me I could send you a
video that I filmed with my phone with the noise while on battery and
another video with the charger connected.”
A Member of Dell official has recently taken notice of the extensive topic and says that Dell is investigating the problem.
“Thank
you all for posting. Dell is aware of these symptoms for the 9530 and
is investigating them. From what all of you are saying the noise only
seems to happen when you have the AC adapter connected to the system,
have any of you noticed this with only battery? Have any of you had the
AC adapter replaced and if so did it help or not?”
But
this topic is running as because people all over the world is
complaining about this problem and the company has big problem of it .
These Problems are affecting the Dell XPS 15 laptops, till now there is
no official feedback coming from the Dell . (given the fact that the
topic was started back in 2013).
Some
users all over the world who are using this machine have find the
temporary solution of this problem like by re-installing the Graphics
Drivers and other system drivers Or By Re-installing the windows in the
machine.
The
Users who are using this machine are not only unhappy with these
problems but they are also unhappy because there is no response from the
company support centre .

have gone past the 30 days return window as Dell have ignored all
communications via email. I am being forced to claim back off my credit
card provider due to this as I have a defective product,” says user
GoNzo.
